Aluminium Windows
Sometimes the simplest upgrade—like changing your windows—ends up making the biggest difference. Aluminium windows have become one of those go-to choices in London homes, truth be told, because they just… work. They’re strong, they’re slim, they look modern without trying too hard, and they pretty much shrug off the typical British weather. If you’re considering replacing old uPVC or timber frames, aluminium is the one material most people eventually come back to.
Our Aluminium Window Styles
Aluminium Casement Windows
These are the ones that open outwards like a traditional hinged window, but with that clean aluminium profile. They’re popular because they fit into almost any house style—modern flats, older terraces, you name it. Great ventilation, simple operation, and they seal up tight.
Aluminium Sliding Windows
If you’re working with balconies, tight spaces, or you just prefer something smooth and effortless, sliding windows are hard to beat. They don’t swing out, so nothing gets in the way. You’ll notice the slim sightlines more on these—they really maximise the glass.
Choosing the right windows and doors manufacturers is essential for long-term durability. At London Glazing Ltd, we provide premium London windows and doors designed to withstand the city's weather while looking fantastic. If you are ready to upgrade, our double glazing solutions are the perfect fit."
Aluminium Tilt & Turn Windows
Tilt & turn units are a bit like the Swiss army knife of windows. They tilt in from the top for quick airflow or swing fully open for easy cleaning. For most people with upstairs flats or high-rise properties, these are the most practical.
Aluminium Sash Windows
If you like the classic London look but want something tougher than timber and slimmer than uPVC, aluminium sash windows are a brilliant compromise. They hold the traditional style but with modern thermal performance. They’re steady and smooth—no rattling on windy nights.
Aluminium Heritage / Slimline Windows
These are for anyone trying to keep that period feel—Victorian, Edwardian, warehouse conversions—while still upgrading to modern glazing. The frames are ultra-slim, almost like steel-look windows, and honestly they make any room feel more “designed.”
Aluminium Replacement Windows
Whether your old windows are draughty, swollen, or simply past their time, replacement aluminium windows are a straightforward way to modernise without messing with the original openings. We measure everything on-site, so the new frames slot in neatly.

Energy Efficiency & Glazing Specs
Modern aluminium windows aren’t like the cold metal frames from decades ago. These days they have thermally broken frames, meaning the inside and outside are separated with insulating material. In simple terms—it stops heat escaping too easily.
Most homeowners go for A-rated double glazing, which is more than enough for everyday comfort. But if you’re aiming for top-tier efficiency or soundproofing near busy roads, we also offer triple glazing. It depends on your priorities: cost, noise, or insulation.
U-values are typically in the 1.2–1.4 W/m²K range for double glazed aluminium, and even lower with triple glazing. And yes, everything meets the latest building regs without you having to think twice about it.
Supply & Fit or Supply Only
We work both ways:
Supply & Fit
Most customers choose this because it’s simply easier. We measure, manufacture, install, seal, and tidy up. Aluminium frames have to be fitted accurately for the thermal breaks to work properly, so having an experienced installer usually pays off.
Supply Only
If you’re a builder, tradesperson, or just confident with your own fitter, we can supply the windows made-to-measure, ready to go. Lead times vary slightly depending on colour and glazing, but we’ll give you a straight estimate upfront.
Areas We Serve
We install aluminium windows across London and the surrounding areas—North, South, East, West, and pretty much every postcode in between. A lot of our work ends up in places like Barnet, Enfield, Islington, Camden, Hackney, Haringey, Wembley, Harrow, and wider Greater London suburbs as well.
If you're unsure whether we cover your area, just ask—we’re usually closer than you think.
